The Band of Bands!

Hi again! I'm writing today to talk about my favorite band of all times:

NICKELBACK!!!

This band is the band of bands for me. It also means a lot to me, because their songs were the first ones that I managed to memorize the lyrics. I remember when I was like 5 years old, and their songs were playing on the radio. I didn't let anyone change the station, and when it finished, I was with my heart beating as fast as the car was running down the street. It's a song in which your head goes to another place. Your body is there, but your soul is with them. I feel the emotion of the music filling me, and everytime I start hearing one song, I hear it like 100 times, before going to another song.
Just so you can manage to keep my pace: They're a Canadian band, formed in Hanna in the year of 1995. Their singer: Chad Kroger, bassist: his brother Mike Kroeger, drummer: their cousin Brandon Kroeger, and Ryan Peake as the guitarist.

The name was based on Mike's job. He was a cashier in Starbucks. He used to say, "Here's your nickel back", and then came the idea to use this as the band's name.

Since then, they have sold 50 million copies in the whole world. Do you know what's 50 million copies? They're freakin awesome! They were the only band to stay 102 weeks inside the World Top 10, according to Billboard, and had the most sold album of the 21st century, with over 15 million copies solds!!!

But every band has its problems, and Nickelback was'nt different. In the beginning, Brandon recorded only one album, and was later substituted by Mitch Guindon. Mitch stayed a few months, and in 1997 was substituted by Ryan "Vik" Vikedal, who stayed in the band until 2005. He was substituted by Daniel Adair, who stays in the band until today. From that year on, they didn't record any more albuns, until 2008, when they returned with the heavy Dark Horse Album.

So if you're waiting for that inspiring band that hasn't appeared yet, go after Nickelback. As they say, "Time is going by, so you have to live like if today was your last day. Don't wait for somebody, go and get he or she yourself".
