We, who cheer for Sao Paulo, should hail for a perfect match against a great team.
Yesterday, Tricolor Paulista (Sao Paulo's nickname), won against Universidad de Chile in the Sulamericana Cup, with a score of 5X0, with gols from Jadson (2), Lucas ("cow" drible, and cross shot), Luis Fabiano (power shot ), and Rafael Toloi (Foul from a long distance, and a perfect strong straight shot that hit the angle!). Aggregated score (score from both games): 7X0 (0X2 in Chile and 5X0 in Pacaembu).
First: Jadson
Second: Lucas
Third: Luis Fabiano
Fourth: Rafael Toloi
Fifth: Jadson
It was such a shame this 5X0 wasn't in Morumbi, but we managed to receive R$3 million for Lady Gaga's show. With this money, we don't have to bother paying yellow cards (in this cup, every yellow card is a fine of $100).
As Sao Paulo passed the quarter finals, it will decide the semi finals against Gremio (BRA) or Universidad do Chile (CHI), depending on Gremio winning or losing against Millionarios from Colombia.
The CONMEBOL (The South American Soccer Federation) has a rule: there can't be two teams deciding the finals, either in the South American Cup or in Libertadores Cup, so they have to decide the semi finals before (if there are three teams from same country deciding semi finals it it an exception). The problem is that Sao Paulo didn't win against Gremio before in the Brazilian National League, and it would be even more difficult for Tricolor to face the other Tricolor (Gremio, Sao Paulo and Fluminense from Rio de Janeiro are the three main "Tricolores" from Brazil). I'm gonna cheer for Millionarios since i'm a baby in the game!
If Millionarios pass, Tricolor won't face them, but Universidad do Chile. Millionarios will face Tigre form Argentina. And they're very easy to pass through. The three of them! Hahahahahahaha!!!
It will be the first time Sao Paulo decides a final in this tournament. It will be awesome!!!
Congrats for our team, and good luck in the cup!
